Well, the time has come. Time for me to throw in the proverbial white flag. Flag of pitiful defeat? Or flag of peaceful surrender? Either way, I have to admit (to myself) that in this season of my life, I simply am not able (to do it all and/or) to blog. At least, neither blog in the way that I like nor in a way I enjoy. It has been stressful, a bit overwhelming, and a whole lot of discouraging. I must take a break. However, I know this season is short and will be over before I know it. Amen to that. Who knows? It might get worse before it improves but, still, it will be over. And I will be back!! I also know that in this land of blog, out of sight is pretty synonymous with out of mind. But, I will be back and I know where to find you:) I will look forward to catching up in May. Perhaps mid-May but for and sure by the end of May. Until then, you will be in my thoughts. As time allows, I hope to stop by your blogs periodically. God richest blessings to each of you!!

My sweet friend, I can often say ‘ditto’ to your blog posts but to them one most especially. I am concerned that perhaps your health issues have become more troublesome and you are stepping away from blogging to heal. If so, I hope you heal in record time and can return to writing the kinds of blog posts you really want to write.
I have had so much technical trouble with my blog that when I finally get a chance to write, then I can’t save or can’t publish. For yesterday and today, my blog has been cooperative. But sure as it is ‘working’ today and it will all go south tomorrow. Funny, I never planned to do series posts or join link-ups when I started this adventure and now because my ability to blog is so unpredictable. Maybe somehow that is God sending me a message to get back to blogging what I meant to be blogging about when I started!!
Please know that I will be thinking of you and praying that whatever you are dealing with, it is soon behind you and life is better than ever. Sending you big hugs.
Jennifer, I have been tempted to do the same lately. Sharing is a two-sided thing…one day you want to and the next day you don’t. I do enjoy reading other’s blogs, but not always posting my own.
I hope you have a great spring and heal 100%.
Blessings 🙂
And here I am, just back from my blog break. 🙂
Hope you are soon feeling better and come back, see you then!
Looking forward to hearing from you again when the time is right. I hope you’re healthy in body, peaceful in spirit, and restful in both. I will be thinking of you and praying for you. Blessings, Maria
I hope that you are able to get the rest you need. I hope that the blogging break will give you a mental break and catch up on other things in life that you need to. Continuing to pray for you.
I really hope that having some time away means you will be able to catch your breath, rest and recuperate. We look forward to your return. Look after yourself x
Thinking of you and praying you are resting and doing something enjoyable during your blog break. I know this year has been difficult for you and so naturally something has to give. We all understand that, as we each go through these stages of life. Please take care and relax and know that we will still be here when you get back. God bless you and keep you always.
Good for you! Such a wise woman. We’re here when you return, friend. But no pressure. Enjoy the unplugged life!
xo
Jennifer, I’m praying this break has refreshed your spirit, renewed your mind, and proven restful for your body. I moved from writing a weekly blog post to a monthly blog post at the beginning of 2023, and it has helped remove writing pressure from my life – as you ease back into blogging, may the Lord give you wisdom regarding the time commitment and participation level for you in this season. May God bless you with His peace!
Hi sweet friend, thought of you tonight and stopped by to see if you had written an update. Hope you are doing okay and that summer is bringing you comfort and peace. Would love to hear from you.
Just checking on you, Jennifer. How are you? I hope your summer and your writing break are proving to be restful and refreshing.
