Yesterday was my first day (alone) at work…well, at the new job! It was a great day. I don’t know how many people really enjoy getting up and going to work – maybe more than I think – but, if you do, it is indeed a gift. And, I do. I thank the Lord for giving me this opportunity. Yesterday was also the first day of school. The church and school share the same phone and, so, I answered a lot of calls from parents with school-related questions. Parents with children with names like: Nana, Speranza, Ha’lla, Paapa. Or, perhaps, Aeneas, Ayekie or Abena. And those are just the first names. I spent a lot of time asking, “Can you spell that please??”
Oh my goodness…,what country are you working in?
I can imagine the delimma you were put in! I would have asked the same question over & over, too! lol
I'm glad you're enjoying your job.
WOW…your right. Pretty unusual names. Glad your enjoying it. HUGS!
Part of my job is confirming appts, so I have to try to pronounce some of those names! I'm afraid I mispronounce them more often than not!
Morning Jenn,
so glad you are enjoying your job so much, it is indeed a gift!
I have noticed that it seems the names these days are getting a lil more unique (shall we say) all the time, and even if it is a name you recognize it usually has a different spelling than normal. Ahhh…..the guest for uniqueness, I guess! lol
Blessings sweet friend, Nellie
