Happy Monday! Today is a rather busy day for me. Eventful, I suppose. A fair bit of stress as well but a day I want to get done and over with….and move forward. With that in mind, bring on the Monday. Let’s do this. I hope you have better plans than I do (at least, a bit more fun) or perhaps it is “just an ordinary” Monday….blessings to you and I’m a bit jealous. Whatever your day, I hope it is productive and a good one. I have had a song on my heart lately. A song about our praise to the Lord and how He not only desires but also delights to hear us praise Him. And I DO like to praise Him in song! But, if I’m honest, the songs (or sometimes much praise at all) don’t come so easily on the hard days. I can sing my little heart out on the “good” days – especially those ordinary Monday mornings at home! But on the less than good days (and there have been quite a few of those over the last six weeks or so)….well, my song can go silent. These lyrics remind me that it should not be that way.
Perhaps these lyrics will encourage you to sing today. Praise our Heavenly Father…whatever your day might look like. I’ll be singing right along with you! The first verse is taken from the account of Paul and Silas’ imprisonment found in Acts 16.

Glad your Monday is know behind you. Now that we have sailed into another Monday and another week, I hope things look brighter. When I have things that I dread hanging fire, I like to get them over with. But sometimes my rush to get on the other side of whatever it is can make things worse.
I am looking forward to a quiet, indulgent Wednesday tomorrow where I can read, and write, and craft. Hope you have something fun planned to do just for you.
