Leading to Move

THANKFUL THURSDAY…and first of all I’m so glad I posted those chubby cheeks yesterday! I received notes from several friends who said they will pray our Thanksgiving trip works out – well, yeah!! Thanks.

Today I am thanking the Lord for His clear direction and leading – especially during this move. Actually, we were not specifically looking for this house or even to move. Hubbie and I are (or WERE) professional house hunters – we just made a bit of a hobby out of looking at homes for sale. It’s fun. Along the way, I’ve fallen “in love” with lots of homes but Hubbie not so much. We were out looking at a cute neighborhood and the for sale sign had gone in the yard just the evening before when we first saw our new home……yes, I loved it – and, this time so did he!! And we had a contract 48 hours later!

From the first phone call and through out the following weeks…..during each decision and every phase….we so clearly saw God’s hand in deciding to move. His timing has not been exactly our timing 🙂 (did I mention, I’m somewhat impatient and I hadn’t thought we would need to rent for a few weeks) but His blessings have been adundant all the way.

Our new home is still local – far enough away to sense a “new beginning” but we will still be able to attend our church and keep in touch with our friends and family. It is the perfect house for us – a single family house with a townhouse size yard! And, did I mention it is so absolutely cute! 🙂 We feel beyond blessed – and we are anxious to see how God is going to use this move and this new home….so that we can be a blessing to others as well.
