Happy Wednesday, friends! It has been a lovely week here so far and I hope it has been for you as well. I’ve actually seen some signs of melting. I almost did a happy dance (but I was driving)! Yesterday morning, almost all the ladies at Bible study arrived in red, pink or with other heart embellishments. It was fun (and a bit funny). Afterwards, I had a long lunch with a friend that I have not seen since before the holidays. We had to catch up on…which we did over yummy Mexican food.
I mentioned on Monday that the sun has been showing up in the mornings earlier and earlier. I love when the rays streak through the house first thing in the mornings. I love mornings anyways but those streaks of sun make the first part of the day even nicer. I actually picked up my camera and was having fun snapping a few photos. And since I do not often have photos, I thought I would simply share a few today. Not (too) much talking but just sharing a glimpse of morning sunshine in my house.

There is still plenty of snow just about everywhere outside. And, although it has been “nice” the last couple of days, I would not be surprised if more snow arrived before winter completely says good-bye. However, I am tired of the snowmen. I am ready to put them away. Hmmm –

We were gifted this amaryllis at Christmas. I have never had one before but we have been completely intriqued and enamored with this thing. This was taken on Monday. We love it!

Just my first view in the morning. Time to get that coffee made!:)

I usually take turns bringing of my houseplants into the kitchen to enjoy some of the morning sun. I love it as much as I do! I guess we are all morning people arouond here!! Thanks again, friends, for stopping by. Enjoy the rest of your day and I hope you will stop by again on Friday!
I like all of the photos in this post- little glimpses of ordinary things- this is what 90% of my camera roll consists of :). The amaryllis is really pretty (plus I love the name Amaryllis for a girl- if I´d have had three girls, don´t Abby, Alyssa and Amaryllis sound good together??). I can see how it´s bringing you joy. Speaking of joy, it´s getting warmer and more of that lovely sunlight earlier in the day. I hope you have a great day!
I love the way the bands of sunshine make my house look in the mornings – it makes the day ahead seem exciting, like the possibilities for happiness are streaming through my house!
