Today was the last day of Bible study for this semester – and (shockingly!) we ended with a brunch! Any excuse to get together and eat:) I am such a fan of breakfast casseroles…and there were so many to choose from this morning…I was lovin’ it! I even found one with grits and sausage…yumm-o! I must confess – I LOVE grits! I know – you either love ’em or hate ’em but I love ’em! I also had a wonderful hot fruit compote….
So many wonderful ideas for holiday meals! What are some of your favorites for the holiday meals??
Hi Jennifer,
thanks for coming by and for your sweet comments about my decorating.
I have to say I haven't put quite as much into it this year cause of
how I was feeling. I am feeling much better but still not over this stuff yet! Have about finished my tree, Thank Godness!
Then I can get the rest of the stuff outta here! I am looking forward to that!
I will be posting a chicken recipe tomorrow, that my family adores.
I only make it for special ocassions, and it is a great make ahead recipe. You also make a rice pilaf that goes with it and the chicken dish makes it's own sort of gravy you put on the rice.
It is one of the best recipes I have ever gotten.
Hope all is well with you, and that you are enjoying the Christmas Season!
I am so looking forward to going out somewhere just so I can wish someone a Merry Christmas!! lol
I have really missed that this year
so far!
Well, Merry Christmas!!
Thank God for my blog, email and the phone or the enemy would have silenced my Merry Christmas!! lol
Have a good one hon,
Blessings, Nellie
