Thanksgiving Choruses

Some choruses we sang at church on Sunday…I’ll warn you, though, if you are like me…a little melody will get in your head and, well, then it is there to stay for a while – but that’s okay!!

Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul
Thank you, Lord, for making me whole
Thank you, Lord, for giving to me
Thy great salvation
So rich and free!
When the Lord saved me,
When the Lord saved me,
Something wonderful happened
when the Lord saved me.
Old things passed away,
Darkness turned to day
Something wonderful happened
when the Lord saved me!!

  1. Hey Jennifer,
Thanks for visiting today. That is an old hymn I have sung in the past. (I do sing in choir sometimes and I love the old hymns) I loved that vintage postcard I put on my blog and that song popped into my head when I say it. It’s an oldie though and I couldn’t even find it in my hymnal. Had to look online to get all the words. It pretty much sums things up doesn’t it?
    Blessings on your day

  2. As I was singing the words, I had a big smile on my face. The words that also came to my mind were, “where in the world would I be if the Lord hadn’t saved me?”

    Thanks for posting this! Beautiful!
