Not alot of time to blog today….I met with a great sized group of ladies this morning for breakfast – our montly ladies’ day out! It was wonderful so many ladies could make it and to see a few new faces, too. Always a nice way to start the morning:) And I’ll be out the door soon for a doctor’s appointment and a few other errands..before the snow this afternoon (not much predicted but anything seems to be a big deal around here!) So for my Thankful Thursday, I’m just TOO thankful that I don’t live here…….
I would NEVER survive in that much snow!
oh my gosh, i can shovel my way through a blizzard, by myself i might add, BUT not that much snow! i wouldn't even try to leave until spring! lol
oh yeah, i forgot to get back to you on the gluten thing. Gluten is a special type of protein that is commonly found in rye, wheat, and barley. It is found in most types of cereals and in many types of bread. I have a big sensitivity to wheat/gluten so I needed to remove it completely from anything I eat. that means I have to read every label and ingredient to make sure it doesn't contain wheat or gluten. If i eat it, it makes me feel really nauseated and my stomach hurts. I've been dealing with these symptoms for a few years but never knew it was a food allergy. now that i know i have eliminated those symptoms! woo hoo! but if i eat even a little bit of gluten without knowing it, i will know it after i eat. i feel run down, nauseated and i've started having sinus issues because of it. so i really really have to check my ingredients. it's hard work but totally worth it when i feel good after eating instead of horrible! I hope that answered your questions 🙂
Yikes. No thanks. It is actually snowing here in AL right now. But nothing like that, thank goodness.
OH MY!! Don't think I'd make it either. haha Glad you had a nice day with your friends. Hugs, Deb
NOW that's a lot snow!
Need to really point out that I'm thankful I don't live there either!!!
Oh! Me too! I prefer the fake snow days of NC.
I loved seeing the beautiful pics of your granddaughter. She has such a twinkle.
