I mentioned last week I wanted to get some of my Easter pictures scanned and posted…so where better to start than the very beginning! Well, that is, our first Easter with all three cutie-patooties!! Emily (the little mom) was four…Jordan (our Easter baby and always smiling that big) was turning three…and Mr. Buster, who is trying to get on the move here, is seven months. I know I am just a bit biased…but, goodness, they are too cute for words:)
My parents always bought the matching Easter outfits…not too hard when there are just two but a bit more of a challenge finding all three just the perfect ensemble!…but my mom would scour every children’s boutique in North Carolina until everyone had even just the right socks! Needless to say, I was one proud mama walking into church on Easter morning. We have always enjoyed new Easter outfits each year…..I even got myself a new dress this year. Hubbie….he always wears one of Tyler’s ties! So bittersweet.
Are you wearing a new “Easter bonnet” this Sunday??
No new "Easter bonnet" for me, but we do have some new things for the kiddos…they'll be cute, for sure.
Your picture is adorable! I love the kids matching outfits…your Mom was one shopper! 😉
Looking forward to seeing Preacher's pictures, too. I know they'll be enjoyable. Hope you're having a good day.
I bought a new dress for Mom's funeral and decided that I would also use it for Easter. Dresses are so hard to find (in my size anyway) and are so expensive. Plus, I don't like shopping!
Love the pic of your cuties. I should get some of Mom's with us and scan them in.
Oh Jennifer what an adorable picture. The outifts were soo cute. I love that your hubby wears one of Tyler's ties. Soo sweet. I always buy Easter outfits for my grandkids. I used to make them for own kids. Melody had some elaborate dresses let me tell you. I saved most of them. What in the world for I am not sure, but they were soo pretty. "Maybe" her daughter one day will wear them too. I do have a new pretty top in lavenders I am planning on wearing. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Deb
I am leaving my office shortly to look for a new Easter dress. It's been a few years since I purchased something new for Easter.
I loved the old photo of your kiddos in their Easter best. But what warmed my heart the most… that your hubbie wears one of your sweet Tyler's ties. A beautiful tribute to your son…
The picture of your kids is so sweet.
No bonnet but a new dress to be unveiled Sunday at church. It will probably have to be hidden under a sweater. Loved the pic of your childhood. Easter memories always revolve around my outfit, you know, gloves, hat, patent leather purse!
What an adorable picture! I used to love to dress my girls in special matching Easter outfits. I smocked dresses for them several years. I think it is so special that your husband wears Tyler's ties. What a tribute to your sweet son! I don't have a new dress this year for Easter. As warm as it is going to be in NC, I need a sundress. Hope you have a wonderful Easter. I am wondering where your Mom lived in NC? Love & blessings from NC!
They are adorable!
No new dress for Momma, but the kiddos will be decked out. Well, Abbie and James will, my two older boys don't want to be decked out so they will be wearing new shirts. 🙂
