Good Monday Morning 1.10.22

Happy Monday!  Outside my window, it is grey and still a bit damp from a full day of rain yesterday.  The rain washed away a fair amount of our snow from last week – and that is something to be thankful for!  I enjoy these quick hellos and verses of encouragement each week…and plan (er, hope) to be consistent with them this year.  That said, I thought I would make it useful as well as encouraging.  I am committing to memorizing each of the verses that I share on Mondays.  With almost 52 Mondays left in this year – yes, indeed – that would be quite a few verses learned by year’s end.  Almost the equivalent of II and III John as well as the book of Jude.  Somehow, committing to memorizing 52 verses sounds so much more manageable than planning to memorize three books of the New Testament!  The mind games I play with myself!

Nevertheless, I think I can do this.  Today’s verse continues from my thoughts on Friday as well as the many other thought-provoking posts from the FMF link-up.  The prompt was “important” and my thoughts can be read here.  I was really encouraged by many who stopped by the blog over the weekend.  Micah 6:13 is a bit of “summary verse” for those thoughts.  I am going to work on memorizing it this week.  I hope your week is a blessed one.

He that shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?”  Micah 6:13

  1. We had quite bit of rain this weekend to help wash a bit of Friday’s snow away as well and I sure am missing that warm summer sunshine right about now. Good luck with memorizing your verses!
