Happy Monday, friends. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. While most of the students I know have finished up with school during the last two weeks or so, our public schools officially ended this past Friday. So, it is total summer mode in these parts! And I do love me some summer:) Did you see my “random questions about summer” post over the weekend? If so, you will know why this morning’s verse is so appropriate! Summer mode is great but we can’t get lazy or go on vacation mode in our spiritual walk. These summer months – and relaxed schedules – are a great time for longer times alone with God, Bible study (alone or with a few friends) and other opportunities to deepen our faith. Don’t miss them!! Be wise:)
Proverbs 6: 6-9 “Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.”
I hope you will come back tomorrow for my regular Tuesday post! Until then, here’s to a great Monday!
