One thing I’ve noticed about my Wordless Wednesday posts…they are rarely very “wordless”!! Can I really share some of my favorite pictures and not say anything?!!? (can I really ever just not say anything!:) )
But I do love sharing some pictures and want to use my blog as a place to save some of them. AND, I got that scanner for Christmas – thanks, sweetie! I think for the new year I am going to start Foto Friday (cutesy name, right!) and start getting my pictures on the computer. Foto Friday doesn’t completely exclude words – shew – and I can share some thoughts.
I also want to use my blog more in the new year to remember some of the richness – blessings, encouragment and conviction as well – from God’s word I get from reading and studying each week. This will be primarily for my benefit (because I can’t seem to remember a tenth of what I want to remember) but I hope it will be a blessing to others as well. So, I will start doing that on Wednesdays instead. Maybe something like – A Word for Wednesday?!?? (I’ll think of something.)
I’ve just been thinking how I want to best use this blog in the new year. The new year?? Can you believe its almost here. I do like to make goals for the new year (don’t know if they are resolutions per se) but I haven’t given that tons of thought yet…..but I do know I want to spend more time with this sweetheart!!

Oh my goodness, she is just ADORABLE!! Soo sweet. Grandkids are the best of God's sweet blessings. My daughter Melody's hair was white like that when she was young too. Brings back such good memories. Have a great day…Blessings, Debbie

Awe! I love that picture of Riley 🙂 I can't believe the photographer actually managed to snap that one! She was not at ALL interested in sitting still. She really just wanted to run around and look at everything so it was REALLY hard getting that pose.
I love the new blog background and I love your idea of doing a "wise word for Wednesdays" or something like that. So neat sounding! "Foto Friday" sounds really cute too. I'm not that organized yet with my blog (am still trying to just get them up daily!) but maybe one day I'll get there 🙂
