Blessed to be his mommy!!

THANKFUL THURSDAY……Thank you, Lord for allowing me to be Tyler’s mommy!!
My brain really cannot get a grasp on the fact that this too-cute for words red-headed boy would be turning 17 (yes, 17!) this weekend! I don’t suppose there are birthday parties in Heaven but I do believe those who are waiting for us there are aware of things happening here on earth….and I hope that, as we remember Tyler’s birthday – and truly celebrate the day God introduced us to Tyler!! – he will know how much we miss him…and how very much we love him!!
My goodness…that baby just makes me melt!!!

  1. Jennifer,

What beautiful pictures! Thank you for sharing them with us.

Seems like yesterday when he was in my second grade class…I remember he wrote down on one of his papers that he had orange hair…I thought that was so cute! That memory still makes me smile. 🙂 Love ya, Friend!

  2. Thanks for sharing your mother's heart with us today-so special. You are such a witness to walking with the Lord through trials in this life.

I'm sure that Tyler is looking down and being proud of his mom!

    Blessings and Hugs,
    Linda C

  5. What a beautiful little baby and boy! I can't imagine how you must miss him. I pray that the Lord continues to hold you as you miss and remember your darling son.

    Love to you… Jennifer

  6. My thoughts and prayers are with you this weekend as you celebrate Tyler's birth date. I'm sure he is celebrating in heaven too!! I just read a book by Greg Laurie about the death of his son and it was wonderful. I am having a senior moment and can't remember the title, but I will send you the name when I get home from my trip this weekend. It was a great book written by a Dad who lost his son. I know you have some special memories of your precious son. Thanks for sharing Tyler with us through your posts. Love & blessings from NC!

  7. I was wondering how old Tyler would be since we have been married the same amount of time 24 years. Tyler reminds me of my eldest son, who is 21.
